Orthoceras fossils are an of extinct genus of nautiloid cephalopod. Orthoceras animals comprised of a solid shell, in which the soft body of the animal inhabited. This is a genuine fossil that is over 50 million years old.
The Ammonite is approximately 14cm long, 11cm wide and 1cm thick and weighs approximately 275g. The stand as shown in the photographs comes complimentary with this purchase.
