Dendritic limestone is a type of limestone containing mineral inclusions. These inclusions are called dendrites. These unique and picture like patterns form when water rich in these dissolved minerals infiltrates the limestone's cracks and fissures, depositing and crystallizing the minerals as the water flows through.
