Orthoceras fossils are an of extinct genus of nautiloid cephalopod. Orthoceras animals comprised of a solid shell, in which the soft body of the animal inhabited. This is a genuine fossil that is over 50 million years old.
These bookends are made of an extinct fossil and has been cut and shaped using its natural stone and then polished.
The bookends are each approximately 15cm high, 11cm wide and 5cm deep and weigh approximately 3.6kg.
