Natural Boulder Opal from Western Queensland in Australia.
This unique stone was found in Duck Creek, Queensland Australia. The Opal is in its natural form with rock surrounding it show casing the beautiful rainbow colours of the natural opal.
This piece can be used as a unique display piece in your home or if you're handy, it can be made into jewellery.
Boulder opals are mined from large ironstone boulders under the ground. Thin veins of colourful opal forms in cracks and fissures in these boulders.
This Boulder Opal is approximately 17cm by 10cm by 8cm high and weighs approximately 780g. This piece comes with a complementary stand as shown in the photographs.
With this order you receive the exact item as shown in the photographs. Photographs have been taken from all sides to show this pieces natural beauty from all angles. Please note this is a natural stone as found in the ground surrounded in ironstone. We have cleaned it with mild soap and water however in many cases it still has some dirt on it.
