These fossils consist of an Ammonite cut in half and polished to create a gorgeous pair. This Ammonite has been cut in half and then polished on one side to reveal it's generous colours, internal caves and patterns.
Orthoceras fossils are an of extinct genus of nautiloid cephalopod. Orthoceras animals comprised of a solid shell, in which the soft body of the animal inhabited. This is a genuine fossil that is over 50 million years old.
The Ammonite is approximately 11cm long, 9cm wide and 1cm thick and weighs approximately 150g. The stand as shown in the photographs comes complimentary with this purchase.
